I've always thought it silly that people refer to their home as the place where they live because they are alive for the better part of the day sitting in an office and working - or perhaps at a slightly more unconventional vocation. Regardless, your place off work is also where you live. Those hours, however spent, should not be discounted as time alive.
So recognizing that, here's a quote from Steve Jobs that I am in love with:
